Muskegon has many recycling resources; however, finding those resources can be difficult. Here is some information on current and popular programs in Muskegon County. If you do not see your municipality listed below, contact your village, city, or township hall for more information.
Goodwill of Western Michigan
Goodwill Industries and Dell, Inc. have partnered to create RECONNECT Michigan a statewide computer recycling and reuse program.

Recycle Here
Recycle Here! was formed in 2005 to address the need for recycling options in the City of Detroit. What began as a grassroots, neighborhood, recycling event has evolved into a city-wide, fully-funded, neighborhood based recycling program. To date, over 2,000,000 pounds of recyclable material has been collected from over 50,000 citizens visiting Recycle Here!’s drop off facilities.

Muskegon Conservation District
The Conservation District is available to provide technical assistance to public and private landowners on a variety of topics including forestry management, fish and wildlife habitat enhancement, stormwater protection, native landscaping, and streambank restoration.
Muskegon Area Sustainability Coalition (MASC)
Following the example of leading communities elsewhere, and with a growing awareness of the importance of the principle of Sustainability in planning for the future of the Muskegon area, the participating members of the Muskegon Area Sustainability Coalition (MASC) come together as a body of community leaders with a common goal of advancing the principles of Sustainability throughout Muskegon County.
