Schools' Challenge
Welcome to the Make an Impact: Change Our 2morrow schools’ challenge! This February, students across the country competed to win $5,000 or $1,000 prizes for their school. The winning schools will be determined based on the highest percentage of carbon calculator and pledgelist completions during the challenge, from February 1 to February 29. Check out the standings of each school on our leaderboard!
What can you do to Make an Impact?
- Ask your family and friends to complete the Make an Impact carbon calculator.
- Remember everyone can play a role: teachers, family, neighbors and friends from other communities and even states. Get creative and engage as many people as possible in reducing their carbon footprint.
- If you are from a participating school, use the various materials that you have received to learn about and measure the energy efficiency of things around your home or classroom.
- Send an email, Facebook, or Twitter message to all your friends asking them to visit the Make an Impact website and complete the carbon calculator. Comment on our Facebook page here and when sending Twitter messages, tag @TweetanImpact or #MAICO2.
